Lookout Mountain Wedding in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Little did Kay know her future husband was living in the apartment above her! Her best friend met Beau before she did. He instantly knew Beau and Kay were a perfect match and told her that he “met the guy she was going to marry.” Then a little matchmaking happened and Kay’s friend invited Beau to a party they were attending that weekend. The rest is history!

When it came time to plan their wedding, Lookout Mountain (outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee) was the perfect choice for a Chattanooga wedding venue. Kay grew up on Lookout Mountain and Beau proposed over Thanksgiving on Lookout Mountain. This area of Chattanooga already held so many special memories. They chose the Lookout Mountain Club for their formal winter wedding.

On the morning of the wedding, the fog added a magical touch to the already stunning Lookout Mountain views. Kay got ready at her parents' house, surrounded by family history. A photo of her mom on her wedding day hung on the wall, and Kay's baby photo was in the background as her mom helped her into her Monique Lhuillier wedding gown (from Ivory and White). It was an emotional moment for Kay and her mom, who hugged her daughter as she stood in her wedding dress.

As the guests arrived, the fog began to lift, revealing the breathtaking view of Chattanooga. Kay added a lace overlay to her Monique Lhuillier wedding gown for the ceremony, and she looked stunning as she walked down the aisle with her dad. Beau was teary-eyed as she approached him, and even her brother, who was officiating the ceremony, had to look away to keep his composure.

After a beautiful ceremony filled with heartfelt vows and an amazing message by her brother, Kay and Beau were officially married. They snuck away for a private meal together, filled with emotion and love.

Kay and Beau's dog, Daisy, made appearances throughout the wedding day, including a spot on the top of their cake made by Cakemakers. The reception was a nonstop dance party thanks to the Groove Factor band, and the dance floor was filled with laughter and amazing moves.

All of the toasts were beautiful, but one of the sweetest lines was from Kay's dad, who said, "Your Granddaddy would say, this was the best." It was the perfect way to remember her granddaddy and close out their wedding video. One reason so many couples want to have a wedding video is to have the speeches captured to listen to over and over.

Kay and Beau's formal winter wedding in Chattanooga was a beautiful celebration of their love story, with stunning views, heartfelt moments, and lots of dancing.
